  1. I wouldnt usually comment but to those who are upset Steven is a vegeterian, consider how the character refuses to hurt any organic life, even flowers. It makes the most sense for him to be vegetarian from a logical standpoint. Even if you think it's stupid or obnoxious or whatever, not everything is the creators trying to channel their values with a kids show, sometimes its just normal character developpement.

  5. For people who are saying you like the young steven better he didn't really start going on missions or using his powers until towards the start of season 4 he can control everything when he's older and can fight 10 times better so future steven is better.

  6. Literally, plus, in my opinion It's so nice that steven aged up, cuz when we were kids we kinda related to 8-15 steven, yk, excited about everything, sweet and kind (some), and more. But it's been years since su first episode and we aged, so did steven, and now some of us can relate to 16 steven. For example I'm a lot like him: Always putting others first, bottling my feelings, always pretending I'm fine and never asking for help. Thanks to suf I realized how much I need friends like steven's. That's mainly why I prefer suf over su.

  7. haha for real if steven wants to be vegan its fine he's not forcing anyone to do the same. there's a lot of vegans tho it's good for tweens/teens and even some younger kids to see that on tv coz remember this is a cartoon network show after all it doesn't cater to adults.

  8. the fuck is this discouse you guys. steven universe has been the most leftist orientated show since its debut, it’s not like the writers have done a big liberal switch up or anything. the entire message of this show is humanitarianism. i get that a big part of his character as a kid was meat related and shit, but it makes sense that he’s changed viewpoints from a writerly pov. he has spent seasons upon seasons refusing to harm and protecting/healing organic life. it’s not a big deal.
also i’m so surprised there are even people here. wow. hi.
